Terms of service

These terms apply when you use forgefireoutdoors.com or buy from Forge Fire Outdoors ("Forge Fire Outdoors", "we", "us"), a business based in Alberta, Canada. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Our store

Our store runs on Shopify. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.

Products and pricing

  • All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
  • We try to show our products, colours and descriptions accurately. Small marks and variations in the stainless steel finish are normal and aren't defects.
  • We may change prices or discontinue products at any time. A price change won't affect an order we've already confirmed.
  • If a product is listed at the wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Orders and payment

  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the order.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, payment can't be confirmed, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.
  • Payment is due when you order and is processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners.

Shipping and returns

Shipping is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Refund Policy. Both are linked at the bottom of every page.

Safe use

The Forge Fire log stand is used with open fire and gets very hot. By buying and using it, you agree to:

  • follow the instructions that come with it,
  • use it only inside a suitable fire pit, never directly on decks, grass or other flammable surfaces,
  • never leave a fire unattended, and keep children and pets at a safe distance,
  • let the stand cool completely before touching, taking apart or packing it, and
  • follow all local fire bans, burn restrictions and campground rules.

Warranty

Apart from what our Refund Policy offers, and any rights you have under the law, our products are sold "as is", without other warranties. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act or other consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Forge Fire Outdoors is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury or damage caused by misuse of our products or by ignoring the safe-use instructions above. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

Our content

The text, photos, logos and designs on this site belong to Forge Fire Outdoors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
